What a wonderful day we had at a Choir rehearsal recently, celebrating the life of Gladys Sturges. Her Grand-daughter, Laura, had been in touch with Karen, our Charity Manager, to say that it was the wish of Gladys, who sadly died recently with dementia, to support the choir financially. She loved watching the Choir on our documentaries and the work we do for many people living with dementia. So, when the family said they were donating £20,000 we were absolutely elated! So, a BIG THANK YOU Gladys and the whole Sturges family, this donation will go a long way to ensuring we can reach out further, not only to many more of the Nottinghamshire community to join the choir, but also to raise the awareness of dementia nationwidrehearsalWatch our video:
