It has been a very active and busy month of May for the Bonser Family. Our lovely Mick and his family have been out and about on their adventures and carried out some fantastic fund-raising activities during the Month of May with the Just Giving Run for Heroes 5K in May!
They were only required to carry out one 5K (in any exercise format) during the month, but they have smashed that and gone over and above!
Mick has done a number of 5K walks with his wife Karen and his carers., two 5k Bicycle rides and one 5k swimming.
Mick who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, dementia and epilepsy over three years ago enjoys as much physical activity as possible and says it keeps him upbeat and stresses how important it is for his health and wellbeing!
We want to thank Mick, Karen, their daughter Hannah and dog Benji for all of their hard work and efforts on raising such a fabulous amount for the Choir!
