About the event
After observing the impeccable studies the effect of music has on the minds of those living with dementia, we'd like to open up a discussion with the wider arts community regarding how we can all start to think outside the box in progressing forward.
The intention is to try to share/prompt any new ideas, works and potential solutions that we can potentially put into practice going forward.
EVENT DETAILS;
- A live musical performance from Our Dementia Choir,
- A screening of our case-study film - "Aren't We Havin' A Good Time",
- A short discussion with the writer and director,
- Hearing from a panel of carefully selected industry experts,
- Undertaking a practical discussion with a room full of differing types of creative artists, medical and care specialists in the audience.
The event will start at 7.30pm sharp, however doors open at 6.30pm into the bar area. There will be a short interval inbetween and networking pre/post event is encouraged.
